05 September 2024 - Hike: Adelboden to Tschentenalp

Today's hike started in the village of Adelboden. I took a train from Brig to Frutigen and then a bus to Adelboden. The route listed on Alltrails was bad so I followed the good old Swiss Wanderweg sign posts. It was raining and I got soaked. About 2400' of elevation gain ending up at the Berghaus Tschentenalp at the top station of the cable car. The last quarter mile was particularly steep. I had a spectacular Bundnerplatter lunch with a beer locally brewed, and then took the cable car down to Adelboden and returned to Brig with the bus and train.
